An upcoming Casa Grande activity will help fund programming that offers support for foster children.
Kids in foster care in the local area will benefit from the Pinal Council for CASA/Foster, Inc.’s “Run Faster for Foster,” and all ages can participate. The starting line will be set up in Villago Park Soccer Fields, and there will be three different options for those who would like to join the fun.
The function is open to both runners and walkers, and anyone who needs a mobility device is welcome. Prizes will be presented to the top finishers in three different categories, and light refreshments will be served. The runners and walkers can choose selections from the food truck that will be serving up a variety of treats, and while they enjoy themselves, the participants will learn about the host organization and how it serves the community.
One of the ways local merchants and other businesses can support this event is by acting as a sponsor. There are lots of ways for them to get involved, and those that do will have their Logo Design seen by the participants as well as the general public.
