Casa Grande event to showcase first responders

Casa Grande residents who would like to learn more about how local first responders perform their duties may want to save the date for a special upcoming activity.

The city has scheduled its Public Safety Day, which will kick off April with an event hosted at the Paul Mason Sports Complex. The whole family is encouraged to stop by in person, and there will be lots to see and do.

People at the function will be able to meet local law enforcement officers, as well as firefighters, emergency responders, and others in the public safety field. There will be exhibits of drones, SWAT Teams and K9 units, and helicopters will also be on display. Everyone can ask any questions they have to the onsite personnel.

Along with the rest of the activities, attendees will be able to make sure their child’s car seat is properly installed, and EZ Child ID systems will also be on site. Food trucks have been invited to participate, and anyone who has documents that need to be shredded will have the opportunity to do so. Raffle draws have been planned, and the winner will receive Corporate Gifts and other prizes. Anyone who would like additional details can call the Casa Grande Police Department at 520-421-8700.

This chance for Casa Grande to learn about the services first responders provide will be offered on Saturday, April 6. The fun will be getting started at 10:00 am.
