Casa Grande event to celebrate dogs

A Casa Grande event taking place this month will have plenty of fun on offer for both pooches and people.

The Pinal County Animal Care and Control division recently released the news that it will be bringing its Water Day back due to popular demand.

It will kick off with a doggie photo contest. To help get the best shots their pets for the competition, the attendees can let their pet get wet in the sudsy pools and utilize the bubbles, clothes, and other props. In the afternoon, there will be a treat-making class, as well as a safety information session for both human and fur kids alike. A pooch playgroup will be on site as well.

While the function will be offering lots of fun in the sun, it will also serve as an adoption day. The first 10 to submit an application to adopt an animal companion will have their fees waived. After this, the fee will be $25. A brochure printing company can prepare materials that explain the responsibilities of pet ownership to hand out during an event like this one.

The Pinal County Animal Care & Control Water Day will be welcoming members of the public on Saturday, June 10th. It will run from 7:00 am until 3:00 pm at 1150 South Eleven Mile Corner Road.
