The AZ Rhythm Connection has scheduled a Virtual Drum, Music & Voice Jam (No jelly) Session, which will be streamed live for Arizona residents to enjoy. Organizers are encouraging people to gather “found sounds” around their homes and join in the fun. The utensils used can include anything that makes noise, such as coffee cans, wooden spoons, or even Boxes from the pantry.
Made up of skilled facilitators who set up group participation events as team building exercises, the AZ Rhythm Connection also conducts classes in hand-drumming, with the focus on West African Djun and Djembe, and has regular drum circles. Brochure printing can be used to Print pamphlets for a targeted Mailing before an event like this.
A class attendee described the drum circle, saying that the drumming started slowly then gradually increased until people were moving faster than anyone believed possible. The rhythmic movements and shared experience allowed participants to enter almost a meditative state, and release tension. The review concluded:
“With all our senses heightened and totally in the moment we partake in what feels more like a sound prayer that finally winds to a whisper.”
The jam session will be live streamed from 10:00 am until 11:00 am on November 14. Prior registration is required and can be arranged here.
