Casa Grande cookery class to welcome local kids

Cooking is a life skill that may be especially valuable, and a Casa Grande class series will soon introduce a variety of cookery techniques to area kids.

The City of Casa Grande Public Library offers an assortment of learning opportunities, and one of these will invite kids from kindergarten to grade 12 into the kitchen. It will teach basic culinary skills, and there are four sessions on its agenda.

The learners in the workshops will engage in hands-on learning, in a fun and interactive way. The participants will also be taught how to make healthy food choices both at home and when they eat out at a restaurant.

Everyone who Signs up will need to be able to commit to attend all four instalments of the kitchen series. Parents or guardians who would like to find out more are asked to contact jlash@casagrandeaz.gov.

A company that prepares Corporate Gifts can supply an assortment of items for a cookery class like this. These include everything from simple cookbooks to recipe cards, aprons, and even chef’s hats printed with a company’s Logo Design.

The Cooking Matters class series will kick off next Friday, January 13, at 10:00 am. It will be on offer at 449 N Drylake Street. Further classes will take place on the following three Fridays – January 20, January 27, and February 3.
