The Central Arizona College (CAC) is now enrolling students for its spring semester.
The college is offering orientation sessions for its students at all of its five campuses, including one in Casa Grande.
The orientation sessions give both new and returning students, as well as their families, the chance to meet other students, staff, and faculty members. The topics of the sessions vary, and include matters like how to find academic resources, and how to locate student activities. The CAC will give away a $200 scholarship to one lucky attendee.
All the orientation sessions are scheduled from 5:30 pm to 8:30 pm. The five campuses holding orientations are Maricopa later on today (January 5), Aravaipa on January 11, San Tan on January 12, Superstition Mountain on January 13, and Signal Peak on January 14.
Courses planned for the Casa Grande Center specifically include English as a second language, which begins January 20, from 9:00 am – 12:30 pm, and 6:00 pm to 9:30 pm Mondays and Wednesdays. Casa Grande Center also offers high school equivalency sessions four days a week, and a series of workshops entitled “Pathways to Success,” held weekly.
In addition to newspaper coverage, the college could Print attractive Brochures for Mailing to area residents, outlining the course offerings and encouraging them to attend orientation at their chosen campus.
