An event celebrating art is set to take place soon in Casa Grande.
The Casa Grande Art Association 2020 Studio Tour is an informal event that gives participants a chance to meet and talk to working artists in their homes and studios. There are six locations participating, and each one has a market place at that location, where more artists will show their works, and have it available for sale. In addition, there are a number of restaurants in the downtown area that will be taking part in the event.
The locations taking part are the Casa Grande Art Museum; Adventures in Stained Glass; the Artmobile Creative Center; the Mark White Studio; the Patterson Studio; and the Kathryn Givre Studio. Some of the participating artists are Jan Hilgendorf, who does beadwork and works in fused glass, and author Patricia Steele, both of whom will be at the art museum. Stained glass artists Susan and John Rooney will be at Adventures in Stained Glass, while Susan Shivers, who works in oils and creates jewelry, will be at the Artmobile. In total, 32 artists are taking part.
Admission to the Studio Tour is free. The Tour is scheduled for March 7 and 8, from 9:00 am until 4:00 pm, and will take place regardless of the weather. Maps and Brochures will be available, and can be created for events like this through the use of brochure printing.
