Ward obtained the assistance from Tom Jones because of his performance during an early stage of the talent show. His rendition of ‘Always A Woman’ by Billy Joel got three judges to spin around to face him on their chairs. Business card printing from Coatbridge may be useful if Ward wants to take his career further after the show ends.
Ward explained his choice of coach to The Daily Record:
“I just felt, as a singer, I wanted to be with someone you can’t dispute can sing. I think will.i.am is first and foremost a producer. But that’s the end product, whereas I felt Tom, as an undisputed phenomenal vocalist, would be better placed to get me there.”
He also said how popular Tom Jones has been with relatives his father-in-law. His own father was keen on the singing of the Welsh star. The transfer of The Voice from BBC to ITV could provide a commercial boost to the contestants on the show.
Ward has previously been employed in a chip shop. The Scottish songwriter Paolo Nutini worked in the same sector prior to his breakthrough and Ward would love to follow in the footsteps of one of Scotland’s most famous musicians.
