This centre will be called St Stephen’s Community Hub, and it is a North Lanarkshire Council project. The local authority greenlit the building of it through its Town and Community Hub Programme and two councillors recently visited the site. Michael McBride and Jim Logue took the opportunity to see how work on the centre is coming along and speak to the construction team delivering it.
When it opens, the hub will offer residents a place to meet that combines cutting edge facilities with an atmosphere that is welcoming for all. It was designed with the aim of making people feel like it belongs to them and meets the needs of everyone.
Businesses and local groups often use community centres to promote their activities by putting Flyers up. Coatbridge has flyer printing outlets that can help them to do that.
Speaking to the North Lanarkshire Council website, Logue stated that work was moving along well, before adding:
“This development represents a major investment in the future: the new hub will not only provide first class learning facilities but will also create a vibrant space for the wider community.”
The hub is costing £34 million and is due to open towards the end of 2026.Get a Free Quote for Flyers
