Coatbridge Neighbourhood Board is the organisation that is responsible for creating the Regeneration Plan, but it has the backing of North Lanarkshire Council. During the process of putting it together, the organisation carried out consultations with local firms, community groups and people who live in the town. This was to ensure that the finished plan is one that meets the needs and desires of Coatbridge residents before the project is taken any further.
It highlights three issues that emerged as priorities during the consultation. The first is to create greater opportunities for the young, while the second is to create better access to local sports and culture while tackling inequalities in health outcomes. The final issue is to create a town centre that is welcoming, safe and business friendly.
When organisations are producing regeneration Plans, they sometimes rely on Coatbridge Graphic Design Services. These can create images showing what the completed projects will look like.
According to the council website, Gavin Whitefield from the Neighbourhood Board said:
“The development of the Regeneration Plan is a significant achievement for the Neighbourhood Board, bringing together the ideas and aspirations of the community into a clear vision for Coatbridge.”
The plan must now be sent to the Government for the necessary approval.Get a Free Quote for Graphic Design Services Get a Free Quote for Plans
