Supported living plan in Prestwich gets approval

A Prestwich house is set to be converted into a centre for supported living, with the confirmation that the Plans have been approved by the council.

This application was submitted to Bury Council last month and the local authority has now chosen to give it the nod. Unity Supported Living Services Ltd is the company behind it and the plan is to create a supported living hub for a maximum of six adults. These will be people who are unable to live on their own, with the idea being for them to share the property. Regulated carers will not live with them.

The house that will be converted is a sizeable detached one, which is located at Rainsough Hill. The application states that it was selected because it is a spot that is close to important amenities like health services, cafes and shops.

Graphic Design Services in Prestwich can be of use to companies when they are submitting planning applications. They can provide images showing what the Plans would look like.

According to the Bury Times, this application goes on to say:
“Support services will include: tenancy sustainment; independent living and life skills development; budgeting and money management; and wellbeing and community engagement.”

It also states that only the inside of the house will be altered during the conversion.

No date for work to begin has yet been announced.
