Prestwich could be set to get a new eatery with the confirmation that a major restaurant chain has Plans for the town.
Nando’s is one of the most popular restaurant chains in the UK and it has identified a Prestwich site that it is targeting. The company wants to launch an outlet on Valley Park Road, in part of a building that used to house TGI Fridays. This building is in a prime location, very close to the M60, but has been vacant for several years now. It is currently in a poor state of repair.
If Nando’s gets the go ahead to open there, it will thoroughly renovate the building. It has applied to Bury Council and is awaiting a decision. This application describes plans for an eatery that would be both exciting and high quality.
When new restaurants first open in Prestwich, it is important to advertise them. Giveaway Promotional Products created by shops in the town can be an effective way of doing that.
The proposed Nando’s restaurant would feature outdoor dining facilities. The plans state that there would be six tables outside the restaurant. There would also be an access hatch for use by those making deliveries.
A spokesperson for the chain indicated that the company was confident it would win approval. This spokesperson then went on to say that it would launch early in 2027.
