The map has been unveiled for a popular festive event that takes place at a Prestwich park.
This event is called Northern Lights Manchester Christmas, and it is a festive trail in Heaton Park. This year promises another magical mile, where families can lose themselves in Christmas installations and light displays. The theme for 2026 is set to be a nostalgic one, under the banner A Christmas Time Machine. The aim is to revive the memories and games of the past, from kaleidoscopes to Scalextric and the Spirograph. Each will feature in large-scale form throughout the trail.
According to the map that has been released, there will be an actual Christmas Time Machine. Families will start on the trail by stepping inside it, representing the moment they leave the present day.
