Prestwich is set to be given millions of pounds worth of funding, so that the money can be used for the regeneration of the town.
News of this funding has been confirmed Andy Burnham, the Mayor of Manchester. Prestwich will be receiving close to £7 million for regeneration projects, from an investment fund of one billion. At the heart of the revitalisation Plans for the town is the construction of a market hall, which will be built on the site that is currently occupied by the Longfield Centre. This centre will be revamped, with several disused buildings being knocked down.
This will create space for the market hall as well as for retail outlets. However, this is just one part of the Plans to improve Prestwich for residents of the town. There will also be the construction of a car park called Prestwich Travel Hub with spaces for 300 vehicles.
In addition to those projects, there are Plans for new housing too. A total of 235 brand new homes will be created.
Local housing developers sometimes make use of brochure printing outlets in Prestwich. These can provide Brochures with photos of their homes to buy and rent.
Sean Thorpe from Bury Council said that the funding was fantastic news for the area. He went on to add that it would enhance all aspects of life in the town.Get a Free Quote for Brochures Get a Free Quote for Plans
