Residents of Prestwich will be able to take part in a range of cultural activities at the end of the month, when a beloved local arts festival returns to the town.
Prestwich Arts Festival is put together by volunteers and it includes everything from visual arts to live music. The theme for the 2025 festival is On Our Way, which draws its inspiration from a mural that was created for Prestwich Metrolink Station. This will be the seventh time that the festival has taken place, and plenty of exciting activities have been announced.
At the centre of it all will be Follow Your Art, a community art trail. People who live in the local area are being encouraged to come up with their own works of art and put them out for display in gardens or windows. Those who want to follow the trail will be able to do so either by bike or on foot.
