Vocal ensemble to perform in Dorchester

One of the top vocal ensembles in the UK will be paying a visit to Dorchester during the autumn to perform a live concert at a church in the town.

The Gesualdo Six is a group that has sung at some of the biggest music festivals and events in this country, the US, Europe and Australia. They were put together a decade ago by Carlo Gesualdo, specifically to sing at Trinity College, Cambridge during Maundy Thursday. Since then they have won a global audience for their glorious harmonies and imaginative interpretations, so there will be a lot of interest in this Dorchester show.

The venue for this concert will be St Peter’s Church and tickets are already on sale. It is expected to sell out very easily, but many venues that are hosting live shows still often use promotional poster printing in local shops and other areas to help ensure that people know about them.

Any music lovers in Dorchester that buy tickets for this concert can expect to hear vocal performances of songs dating from the 15th century to the modern era. The show is scheduled to last for 75 minutes and tickets for it are reported to be going at a rapid rate.

The Gesualdo Six will be performing in Dorchester on 6th September. Tickets for the show can be bought through the box office online.
