Dorchester event to welcome massive monster truck

The biggest monster truck in Europe will hit Dorchester this autumn for a popular annual event.

This truck goes by the apt name of Big Pete. It is 12ft wide, 16ft tall and weighs no less than 7.5 tonnes. The enormous vehicle is described as a weapon of mass destruction and the only true monster truck in the world. Its appearance is sure to be one of the highlights of the upcoming Dorset County Show, which will be held at the Dorchester Showground.

Big Pete will take on The Grim Reaper during the monster truck segment of the show. This will take place within the Main Ring, which is sponsored by NFU Mutual Dorchester. The Grim Reaper boasts a cutting-edge design that makes it a worthy opponent.
