Dorset Studio School will be completely rebuilt, at a cost of millions of pounds. All of the existing structures at the site will be knocked down, on the basis that they are too small and no longer suitable for the needs of the school. Then, a new set of buildings will be constructed, which will be much bigger and more modern in design. The Department of Education is providing the financing for the project.
The exact cost of it has not been revealed, but it is certain to be a considerable sum of money. The decision by the Department of Education to green light the funding was announced by local MPs.
