Those who have seen Watson perform before will know that he has a taste for the unusual. He has appeared at shows far and wide, including the Edinburgh Fringe and Melbourne Comedy Festival.
Watson claimed that he adopted a Welsh accent when he started doing stand-up comedy, because it made him feel more comfortable, before reverting to his real accent. A promotional release ahead of his current tour reads:
“Both a dad and a kid himself, around the midpoint of his life, the Taskmaster star and multiple award-winner returns. He'll consider the search for meaning that we're all on, with or without Google.”
Watson has been referred to by fans and critics as the ‘Marathon Man’ of comedy. He has performed several 24 hour shows, including at Edinburgh and Melbourne.

Mark Watson will appear at Thomas Hardye School’s Hardye Theatre venue on Saturday, 17 February. The show is from 8pm to 10pm, and tickets are priced at £22 for adults, and £20 for concessions.
