Meditative tapping at Dorchesters Bean on the Green

Emotional freedom technique (EFT), a type of meditation that is considered an alternative treatment for pain and distress, is set to come to Dorchester this month.

At Dorchester’s Bean on the Green cafe, experienced practitioner Sharon Bentley will lead n evening group tapping circle that will include an introduction to EFT.

The session will be suitable for beginners, as well as those more experienced with the EFT technique. Sharon ran through the main characteristics of EFT tapping:

“We start with a grounding meditation followed by delving into a topic selected by the group, such as stress and anxiety, introducing the EFT tapping points, and encouraging you to notice in your body where the emotion is.”

Several tapping rounds will be followed by an invitation for participants to share how they feel, with Susan being led by her intuition on the mood of the group.

These kinds of community events can be promoted online or with flyer printing. Susan has her own payment structure for the event, inviting attendees to choose between a fee of £15-£30. She explains:

“From my heart to yours - I do not want finances to hold you back from coming so please do get in touch if this touches your heart.”

EFT tapping at Bean on the Green takes place on Wednesday, 24th January from 7.30pm onwards.
