Residents of Dorchester are preparing to welcome the annual Christmas Craft and Food Fair to the historic Corn Exchange building, located at the heart of the town centre.
Back for its 36th year, the craft and food fair offers visitors the chance to get ahead on their Christmas shopping, and to make the most of the local produce that will be on offer. Over 30 purveyors of food and local crafts are expected to be in attendance.
On the weekend of the 11th and 12th November 2023, visitors to the market town will be able to browse a host of stalls selling wares as diverse as homeware, jewellery, knitted garments and plants.
In addition to this, an array of food and drink stands will be on hand to offer mulled wines to keep the crowds warm, and sell local produce such as chilli sauces, cheeses and artisanal chocolates.
Some of these businesses will make use of local brochure printing services in order to showcase the full range of what they have to offer.
For visitors to the Christmas Craft and Food Fair, this weekend offers the opportunity to get started on the Christmas preparations in a festive and joyful atmosphere.
The event, which is open from 10.30am to 5.30pm each day, is free for under 16s to enter, with charges of £3 for adults and £2.50 for concessions.
