La Voix is a drag queen who has put in show-stopping performances on Ru Paul’s Drag Race UK, Britain’s Got Talent and Strictly Come Dancing. Now, she is set to take to the road with a live tour, and one of the places she will visit is Leicester. The tour is being called La Voix Live, and audiences are being promised a mix of live band music and comedy routines.
De Montfort Hall will serve as the venue for the Leicester show, which seems likely to attract a big crowd. Local venues sometimes use poster printing outlets in Leicester to help with the advertising of their upcoming shows.
The identity of La Voix is 46-year-old Christopher Dennis, who hails from Durham. He has taken his creation all the way from performing on cruise ships to becoming a genuine UK television and theatre star.
Speaking to the Leicester Mercury about the planned tour of the country, La Voix said:
“I can’t wait to bring the glamour, the laughs and a few fabulous surprises to audiences across the UK. It’s going to be my biggest, boldest and most fabulous tour yet – I’ll see you there.”
This tour launches on 5 March 2027, and La Voix will hit Leicester on 29 April.
