A building in Leicester that is made up of flats for students looks set to be extended, after the council gave Plans for it the nod.
This building is on Henshaw Street and was at one time home to a factory for the business Luke Turner & Co. Now, it is used as student accommodation, and it is currently made up of a total of 56 flats. The plans that have been approved by Leicester City Council will significantly increase this number, helping to meet the demand for high quality student housing in the city.
The plans will see a further three storeys added to the building, which will provide another 32 flats. In addition to this, the basement area will be redeveloped so that it can serve as a common room for use by all of the students living there.
When it comes to advertising student accommodation in Leicester, flyer printing can be a good way of getting the word out. These Flyers can be distributed in areas close to local colleges and universities.
Although Leicester City Council planning officers have approved these proposals, there are conditions attached for the developer. They will be expected to put aside money for use in enhancing the healthcare facilities for the community. This could include everything from hospitals to GP surgeries.
They will contribute funding towards redeveloping Nelson Mandela Park too.Get a Free Quote for Flyers Get a Free Quote for Plans
