What's Happening in Leicester, England…

One of the most successful UK rock bands of the modern era have announced they will be coming to Leicester for a concert later in the year, and some tickets remain available.

You Me At Six are one of the top bands on the British rock scene. They were formed in Weybridge, Surrey back in 2004 and achieved mainstream popularity four years later with the release of the album “Take Off Your Colours”. That featured the hit singles “Kiss and Tell” and “Save it for the Bedroom”, and the band have since gone on to produce another four successful albums.

Two of them – “Cavalier Youth” and their most recent effort “Sucker Punch” – made it to number one in the charts. Along the way, they have further increased their fan following with impressive live performances at events such as the Reading and Leeds Festival.

Now, they will be coming to Leicester, with the O2 Academy set to serve as the venue for their show. Tickets sold out almost immediately, but some are available on resale. Promotional poster printing from outlets in Leeds is often used by venues as a tactic to advertise any upcoming events on the horizon.

Fans can expect to hear both old and new songs at this concert, which will take place on 22nd August.

Doors to the show will open at 7pm.
