This event is being put together by Bongo’s Bingo, the company that organises live bingo nights across the country. 2025 marks its 10-year anniversary, and this special themed evening is a way to celebrate it. Those who attend will find all of the usual Bongo’s Bingo fun and games, but with a distinct ‘90s flavour to them. That will be particularly evident when it comes to the soundtrack.
The music on the night will range from commercial pop tunes by the likes of the Backstreet Boys and TLC, to alternative rock sounds like Nirvana. There will even be hip hop beats to accompany the bingo party.
Jonny Bongo, the co-founder of Bongo’s Bingo, spoke to the Leicester Mercury ahead of the event. He said that the 1990s was the ideal decade for a themed night, adding:
“There’s amazing music from bangers to classics and endless hands-in-the-air tunes which will have everyone in raptures.”
The organisers of upcoming Leicester events must advertise them, and poster printing is one of the many ways in which that can be done.
In addition to bingo and dancing, this event will feature a 1990s quiz. It will take place on 19th July, at the Athena venue.
