Fry will be among the numerous performers at the Leicester Comedy Festival, which will feature a staggering 700 live shows. The theme for the 2026 event is set to be ‘The Art of Comedy’ and there will certainly be plenty of masters of that art. In addition to Fry, other comedians who have been confirmed include Sue Perkins, Paul Merton, Sara Pascoe, Chris McCausland, Olga Koch and Maisie Adam.
One of the main venues for the festival will be De Montfort Hall, which is where Fry is scheduled to perform. He will be taking part in a conversation with Geoff Rowe, who is the founder of Leicester Comedy Festival. This will be a tribute to Fry’s friend Tony Slattery.
When it comes to advertising upcoming events in Leicester, poster printing by local shops can help to get the job done.
Speaking to the Leicester Mercury about his appearance, Fry stated that:
“I am delighted to be coming to Leicester Comedy Festival to be interviewed by Geoff Rowe. This special event is in memory of my dear friend Tony Slattery who was a patron of the festival since it started in 1994.”
The festival will be taking place over the course of February 2026.
