The first-ever Leicester Food Festival was held last year and it proved to be a big hit with residents.
Every single ticket for the event was sold, so its return may be no surprise. This year’s event will include over 40 stalls offering street foods from across the world. It has the backing of the campaign called ‘Taste the Place’ that was set up by Visit Leicester.
At the heart of the 2025 festival will be the Midlands Makers Market. This will feature a total of more than 80 food producers and creators from the Leicestershire area. Speaking to the Leicester Mercury, the festival director Kev Lee said:
“This year, we’ve expanded our offerings to create an even more immersive and enjoyable experience for our attendees, all while supporting the amazing work of Open Hands Food Bank.”
The organisers of local events like this can use flyer printing from Leicester shops if they need a quick and cost-effective way to promote them.
Despite its name, the Leicester Food Festival is not just about food. It also features live music and activities for children. It will take place at Abbey Park on 9th and 10th August.
