DJ Mills signs up for Leicester festive pantomime

Popular DJ Scott Mills will be coming to Leicester this year to play a role in the Christmas pantomime, and has credited a fellow presenter with persuading him.

Mills is a disc jockey on BBC Radio Two, but will be taking time off from his usual job to perform in the pantomime Jack and the Beanstalk at De Montfort Hall, Leicester, over the festive period. Mills has admitted he is nervous about it, as he has never performed in a pantomime before, but told a local newspaper that fellow DJ Vernon Kay had urged him to take the plunge.

Speaking to Leicestershire Live, Mills stated that the pantomime company Imagine had contacted him after he said he could be interested in taking part in one during his radio show.

He then added:
“Obviously my Radio Two colleague Vernon Kay did panto for Imagine last year, and when I mentioned to him that they had been in touch he said, ‘you need to say yes’. He said it’s just the greatest fun!”

Graphic Design Services in the city can help the organisers of events like the pantomime to produce Posters highlighting big name performers such as Mills.

The DJ is set to take on the role of Mayor Mills.

Jack and the Beanstalk runs from 15th December to 7th January, and tickets are available to purchase now from the De Montfort website.
