Brampton sees in 2013 in family-friendly fashion

In recent years, New Year's Eve has become a more family-focused event and there are several First Night events throughout Canada which are family-friendly and do not allow alcohol. Like many of those cities, Brampton is having its own family-friendly New Year's Eve celebration this year.

The celebration is called ‘A New Year's Eve Knight’ and has a royal theme in honor of Queen Elizabeth's 60 years on the throne. It is completely free and will include ice skating in Gage Park, fire pits with marshmallow roasting, and all kinds of other entertainment. There will also be an entertainment stage in Garden Square and two fireworks displays at 9:00 pm and 12:00 am. Some of the acts performing on the stage will be children's entertainers and musical acts such as Suzi McNeil and Down with Webster. It sounds like this will be the perfect way to celebrate New Year's Eve and to include the entire family.

New Year's Eve is, for many, the social event of the year. As people get dressed up, spend lots of money, and ring in the New Year with friends and loved ones, Brampton printing companies are likely to be working with the organizers to provide services such as flyer printing in order to let the community know what is happening.

A New Year's Eve Knight will take place in downtown Brampton on December 31 from 7:00 pm - 12:30 am. Admission is free and those attending are asked to bring a non-perishable food with them. For more information, call 905-874-2000.
