Brampton Farmers Market back for another year

Brampton aficionados of fresh local produce, meats, honey, and other items will now have an opportunity to purchase them at a place that’s close to home.

The Brampton Farmers’ Market has set up shop for another installment, and many of the vendors are selling items that are raised without hormones, pesticides, or anything artificial.

The public can stroll through the different stands and take the chance to get to know their local food producers and where their food comes from a little bit better. A firm that provides printing services will be able to create all the signage, labels, price tags, and other items that the sellers may need to help them promote their products to those who come out to browse and buy.

It is one of the largest events of its type in the GTA, and takes place each Saturday until October 10th on the portion of Main Street between Wellington Street and Theatre Lane, and at least 50 different vendors are taking part. Six of them were new to the event.

One of the people selling his wares is beekeeper John Gainor, who has honey for sale in a variety of flavors such as lavender, wildflowers, and more. He noted that even though the decline in the number of bees has made honey more expensive, his products were still very popular with the crowd.
