Boasting of being Canada’s oldest whisky festival, the New Brunswick Spirits Festival will be holding its 27th edition this fall in Fredericton.
The weekend will include a series of tastings and master classes designed to highlight the art of distilling whisky, rum and other spirits. These will often be accompanied by a dinner or lunch and presented by ambassadors of specific brands. Thursday afternoon will include “Whisky & Art: A Feast for the Senses”, including a guided exploration of the Beaverbrook Art Gallery by Emmett Hossack. The centrepiece of the event is the Festival Showcase, with samples of whisky and spirits brand from across the Maritimes and beyond.
The festival will conclude with tastings of rare whiskies from the cabinets of collectors, closed distilleries, and festival chairman Frank Scott. Knob Creek will sponsor the concluding American Whiskey Dinner, hosted by Ray Daniel. There will also be a pop-up Alcool NB Liquor Boutique throughout the week.
Festival guests include expert blenders and distillers Iain Allan, Amanda Beckwith, and Emma Coady. Vendors at food and drink events like this often provide samples, special deals, and Promotional Products to help reach a new audience.
The 2024 NB Spirits Festival will be held from November 19 to 23 at the Delta Mariott Fredericton. The event will be using the Drive Safe program, including a free taxi ride within Fredericton, to make sure attendees are drinking safely.
