Winnipeg workshop to create new crop of needle crafters

Those who are interested in the art of crafting with a needle and thread may want to take part in a series of two workshops on the agenda for Winnipeg Sews, which are set to welcome beginner sewers.

The students in the sessions will be making a pair of pajama pants. They will be taught the basics of using a pattern, and all of the materials required, other than a sewing machine, will be included in the registration fee.

During the first class, the participants will select their size and use the pattern provided to cut the fabric. During the second session, the group will be walked through the process of sewing their pajama pants. They will have an elastic waist, and the students can customize the sizing options to fit them best.

Those who register for the activity are asked to bring their own portable sewing machine, and the registration fee is $135. Offering each learner a booklet of tips and hints for sewing will help them to make the most of a learning opportunity like this, and these can be sourced from a printer that prepares Letterheads and other materials.

The Winnipeg Sews Pajama Pants workshops will be taking place on November 2nd and 9th. They will be located at Unit 203, 421 Mulvey Avenue East, Winnipeg.
