Schedule set for Winnipeg pop-up plant sales

Savvy Winnipeg gardeners know that filling their beds with native plants can bring some big benefits, and doing so is about to get a lot easier thanks to a series of pop-up sales.

The Living Prairie Museum will soon be partnering with Prairie Flora Greenhouse to host six Prairie Plant Sales. The schedule kicks off in mid-May, and pre-orders may be available.

The sale will make it easier to include native wildflowers and grasses in Winnipeg gardens, and there will be plenty to choose from, with only native species sold. There will also be subject matter experts on hand to provide advice and answer questions. Everyone can recreate their own little patch of the prairie, and they may find that it attracts local wildlife and provides other benefits as well.

Many communities run pop-up garden markets during the spring and summer months. A flyer printing company can provide a full line of marketing options, as well as signage, plant tags and labels.

The Living Prairie Museum will be helping to populate Winnipeg gardens with native plant species on select dates starting on May 15th, and it will wind up on August 22nd . A full description of what will be on offer, as well as additional dates and a pre-ordering link, can be found on the Prairie Flora Greenhouse website.
