For over four decades, Winnipeg families have made a visit to Santa’s Village a well-loved tradition, and this activity will be making its return for 2024.
The celebration, which will take place at Jean-Paul-Aubry Hall at the Centre culturel franco-manitobain (CCFM), will have offerings geared towards kids from 2 to 7 years old. It will be filled with holiday decor, and some very special guests will be stopping by to meet the attendees.
Santa’s Village will be open on two dates in December, and each session will run for 60 minutes. Santa, Mother Christmas and their trusty helpers will be on hand, and the program will incorporate puppet shows, making magical cookies, playing and singing with the elves. The Big Guy in Red will spend time with the younger guests, and anyone who has questions or would like to discuss a booking can contact programming@ccfm.mb.ca.
Communities across Canada have special fun in store for the holiday season. A festive banner can add some extra sparkle to an activity, and banner printing services will be available at a local printer.
Santa’s Village will be welcoming families on December 7th and 14th. The start times are 9:30 am and 11:30 am, and the venue is located at 340 Blvd Provencher. Funding has been provided by both the Federal and Provincial governments.
