Winnipeg to kick off spring with craft market

This March, Winnipeg families will be hopping on in to a local venue for a day that will be filled with spring-themed fun.

The 2nd annual Spring into Easter 2nd- Arts, Crafts & Bake Sale will soon be adding some extra excitement to the change of the season. Both admission and entry in the door prize draws will be free, and the fun will be had at the Archwood Community Club.

Community members who stop by to check out the event out in person will find lots to see and do. The kids can get a glitter tattoo and have their face painted, and they can also try their luck in the colouring contest, with the winner receiving a prize basket and giant bunny balloon. At least 30 vendors will be on hand. Winnipeg Kitten Adoption has been invited to be part of the festivities, and it will have a kitten tower set up so that, hopefully, many of its charges will be able to find a loving forever home.

Spring is a popular time of the year for craft markets and bake sales, and they give community members an opportunity to gather and enjoy one another’s company. Banner printing and other marketing services for such a function will be on offer at an area printer.

The Spring into Easter Arts, Crafts & Bake Sale has been planned for March 23rd. It will be open from 11:00 am until 3:00 pm.
