Winnipeg’s Transcona Country Club will soon be welcoming the public for a market that may just take some of the bite out of holiday gift buying.
The 6th annual Craft and Gift Christmas Market will be providing a venue where local crafters and shoppers can come together, and there will be lots of free onsite parking. The location is accessible to anyone who uses a wheelchair or other mobility device, and strollers will also be able to enter.
Along with a chance to browse through the works of more than 100 artisans and crafters, the public will be able to try their luck in the fundraising raffle draw. A gift-wrapping service will be available, and a variety of corporate sponsors are supporting the activity. Additional vendors may be able to be accommodated, and anyone who would like to find out more about this is asked to contact the organizers via email.
Many not-for-profit groups depend upon functions like this to ensure they have the funding needed to deliver their programming to the community. Print shops will be able to help make sure the event is a success by providing everything from Promotional Products to signage.
