A Winnipeg riding school recently announced that it has spaces on offer for one of its winter programs, and it is open to almost anyone who would like to learn how to ride.
Sagehill Stables will be running its Introductory Riding Program to anyone aged eight and up, and seniors are welcome to participate if they wish. It has been noted that this is a special promotion, and the registration fee for the 10 sessions is $580 plus GST.
Each of the two-hour-long activities will give those who are new to horses an opportunity to get their feet wet, and it will cover a variety of topics. Riding theory, as well as safety, will be covered, and the participants will also receive assisted tack up, along with actual experience in the saddle. Those who are interested can choose the day of the week that best fits their personal schedule.
Everyone who registers is advised to wear long pants, as well as shoes or boots with a half-inch heel. Equestrian helmets will be provided. Safety waivers and other documents are often used during the registration process for an activity like this, and these can be obtained from area Stationery printers.
Sagehill Stables will begin its schedule of winter riding classes on January 9th, 2022. It is located at 4180 Waverley Street, and more information is available on its online listing.
