Winnipeg railway to host family fun day
This summer, Winnipeg residents and tourists will get the chance to climb aboard the Prairie Dog Central for a day designed with families in mind.
The organizers of the Prairie Dog Central Railway’s Family Fun Day have pulled out all the stops for an event that will be filled with summer fun. Anyone who is interested may wish to reserve their seats early so they do not miss out, and ticket prices for the excursion start at $32.95 for adults and $25.95 for kids.
Each passenger on the trip to and from Grosse Isle will be kept smiling thanks to the live entertainment, and balloon animals, a magic show and temporary tattoos will be on offer as well. At Grosse Isle, the riders will disembark and pay a visit to East Rosser School and Heritage House, where food will be available for purchase. Those who wish to prepare their own can bring along a lunch.
