Winnipeg pop up market to showcase local crafters

Manitoba is home to some crafty individuals, and these creators will be showing off the fruits of their labours during an event that will be hosted by Winnipeg’s Manitoba Crafts Museum and Library (MCML).

The planners of this year’s Made in the Middle Craft Market are working hard to create a function that will give artisans and the public a chance to connect. Table bookings are now open, and each eight foot table space will be $50 each.

As this gathering is meant to be a showcase of the talents of area crafters, mass produced items will not be included in the sale. It will be a juried event, and items made in Manitoba will be taking pride of place. Each vendor will be welcome to book a table, and there will be some limited space on either side as well. The full layout plan will be released once the booking period is over.

Publicizing a makers’ market like this can be key to its success. Print shops can prepare many types of marketing materials for this sort of function, and will be able to craft everything from Posters to Flyers, mailers and pop up Banners.

The 2020 Made in the Middle Craft Market has been scheduled for September 11th. It will be held at Manitoba Hydro Place, and application Forms can be found on the Centre for Craft website.
