Winnipeg Kinsmen Club believes that everyone would have a chance to participate in sport, and its upcoming fundraiser will aid in making it possible for everyone to join in the fun.
The organization will be hosting a golf fundraiser, and the proceeds will help to make it possible for those with cognitive and developmental delays to take part in a sporting competition. The format for the event will be a Texas Scramble, and a shotgun start will kick off the day.
Once a registrant has arrived and checked in, they will be treated to lunch and refreshments. At each hole, the golfers will have a chance to meet a celebrity or an athlete golfer, and the use of a cart is included in the ticket price. The event will wrap up with a cash bar and dinner, and both live and silent auctions will have a variety of items on the block.
To thank the players for their support of the cause, they will all go home with a tee box that boasts a unique graphic design. Individual registration is $250, and teams of four can sign up for $1,000.
This chance to have fun while doing a good turn for the community will be held at Winnipeg’s Glendale Golf and Country Club on August 25th. Registration will start at 10:15am.
