As another Winnipeg winter draws to a close, those in Winnipeg who have a green thumb, or just wish they did, are invited to visit a tradeshow geared towards their special interest.
The 9th annual Gardening Saturday will give those who come out a taste of spring. There will be a variety of displays and booths set up, as well as speakers and experts on hand to answer questions and give the latest tips and advice in the horticultural industry. It will also give people a chance to enjoy spending time with others who share their same passion.
The keynote speakers for this year’s event is Zachary Weiss, and along with him, there will be a trade show area that features 100 vendors showing the very latest that they have to offer. There will also be a food market that will be cooking up local, freshly prepared foods.
A special section that is new for this year is the Hobby Lobby area, where there will be a variety of hands-on activities designed to be both fun and educational. Along with these, 15 workshop sessions will be offered. Presentation Folders can be used during events such as this to give those who come out information to take home with them to browse through at their leisure.
