Winnipeg gardeners invited to spring showcase
Winnipeg gardeners often spend their winters planning for the spring planting season to come, and a local event will help them to hit the ground running.
The city’s home horticulturalists, as well as those from the surrounding area, may want to save space in their April calendar for the Living Green product and services showcase. It will be an expo-style occasion, with a $10 admission fee being charged at the door. The venue boasts lots of free parking.
The function, which has been scheduled to welcome attendees at Red River Exhibition Place, will be filled with exhibits and table displays set up by local greenhouses, garden centres and landscaping companies. There will be lots for the public to see and do, and a schedule of presenters will address the crowd on topics related to gardening and a green lifestyle.
An expo like this gives the public and product and service providers a venue where they can connect, and they tend to attract a large crowd. Business card printing and other marketing services will be available at area print shops, and they can help a company prepare for almost any event.
Living Green will be kicking off another gardening season from April 7th to April 9th. More details for the general public, as well as any companies interested in joining in the fun, can be found on the expo’s website.
