Winnipeg course to help build customer service skills

For two days this month, Winnipeg’s Broadview Academy will be equipping learners with the skills they need to provide top customer service, and this opportunity for professional development is open to anyone who feels it will be helpful.

Taking care of customer’s needs does not always come naturally, but those who participate in this short course will walk away confident that they know how to deal with a wide variety of situations they may encounter in their work. The training will be instructor led, and the fee to take part in the activity is $599.

As part of the training, the students will discover how their own behaviour and attitudes can affect others, and why this is often such an important part of customer service. Problem solving skills will be discussed, and there will also be tips shared for dealing with difficult or hard-to-please clients. Telephone skills will also be on the agenda, along with the importance of listening and empathy.

By giving members of the public an opportunity to add to their own personal skill set, an event like this can be extremely beneficial to a community. Bound texts and other learning materials for this type of function can be ordered from local Stationery printers.

Broadview Academy will be offering this two-day virtual workshop starting on March 10th.
