Alzheimer’s and other Forms of dementia can be a challenge for older adults, and their families and caregivers will be able to meet, connect and learn during a Winnipeg activity.
The Care4u Family conference recognizes the importance of caring for the caregiver, and it will arm its attendees with knowledge , resources and other tools that may be helpful to them. A registration fee of $50.00 will be charged, and this includes a hot lunch.
The conference will feature remarks presented by subject matter experts from across the country, and they will be sharing the latest strategies and ideas when it comes to topic caring for those living with dementia. Topics ranging from medications and transitioning to long term care to financial and legal considerations and grieving all be discussed. The function is slated to take place at Canad Inns Destination Centre Polo Park.
A symposium or conference gives attendees an opportunity to participate in a deep dive experience, and they often include networking and other mixers. Name tags, lanyards, conference packages and other materials from an event can be prepared by a local brochure printing company.
The 2023 Care4u symposium will be giving some TLC to area families and caregivers on October 28th. It will begin at 9:00 am, and wrap up at 3:30 pm. Anyone who is interested in taking part is encouraged to register now.
