Fans of popular culture from across Manitoba are invited to come to the Winnipeg Pop Culture Festival.
The event will feature presentations by various artists, TV personalities and others, as well as displays by vendors and other enthusiasts. An Artist Alley will be set up where creative minds from the local and surrounding areas can display and sell their works, and there will be question and answer panels with invited guests and many other activities.
This year, contributions to pop culture that were made in the ‘90s will be featured, and in keeping with that theme, there will be retro video gaming tournaments, a costume contest, and trivia competitions. Signs can be printed for events like this to help people find what they are looking for, or to let them know when the different presentations will begin.
The event has been planned for the RBC Convention Centre. It will take place on April 9th and 10th. Tickets cost $10, and they can be purchased online. Those who are interested in setting up a display table in Artist Alley are asked to register ahead of time by submitting a completed registration form.
