A new exhibition at Winnipeg Art Gallery has recently opened, which will be on display in the city until April of next year.
The “Olympus: the Greco-Roman Collections of Berlin” exhibit will only be shown at two places in North America. It is made up of items taken from several national museums and galleries throughout Europe. There will be over 160 ancient items on display, including marble and bronze sculptures, vases and jewelry.
To celebrate this event, there will be a monthly feast held. This will include a three-course Mediterranean meal, which will be followed by a tour of the exhibit given by an expert guide.
This exhibit will no doubt attract lots of interest in the Winnipeg area. Local Print companies may be asked to provide advertising materials, such as Brochures and Flyers, to let the community know about it.
“Olympus: the Greco- Roman Collections of Berlin” is showing at the Winnipeg Art Gallery until April 17, 2016. The museum is open Tuesday through Sunday. Admission for this exhibit is $20 for adults, $18 for seniors and students, and $30 for a family of six (two adults and four children). The next Feast with Gods and Goddesses will take place on July 23rd, beginning at 6:00pm, while the tour will start at 7:30pm.
