The 11th annual Business and the Arts Reception is taking place this October. It is a presentation of the Surrey Board of Trade and Surrey City Council.
Guests will enjoy refreshments and appetizers while they interact with their fellow business leaders. There will also be door prizes, and several Civic Treasure Awards will be handed out during the evening; the public nominates people who have made a difference to the community for this award.
This year, guests will be treated to a showing of the film ‘6 Guitars’, which won the Vancouver Fringe Festival's Critics’ Choice award.
This will be a great networking opportunity for Surrey business leaders. There are sure to be lots of chances to discuss business and to forge new relationships. Cards will be exchanged, and everyone will get the chance to practice their elevator speeches.
To be different, some businesspeople may choose to hand out Brochures to their peers. Surrey brochure printers can provide them with any type they need. Handing out a brochure with contact information instead of a business card may make people remember them more easily.
