Two former US Presidents to speak in Surrey

Former U.S. Presidents Bill Clinton and George W. Bush will be the featured speakers at the Surrey Regional Economic Summit on October 20, 2011. Printing companies in Surrey, who will be on hand to assist with the promotion of the event, will be paying attention to what perspectives the two men can bring to the economic challenges facing businesses in Canada and around the world in the early 21st century.

The Surrey Regional Economic Summit has been a yearly event since 2008. As Surrey mayor Dianne Watts has stated:

“The summit reminds us that we’re directly impacted by the changes created by the dynamic and often dramatic competitive forces at work in markets in every corner of the world.” Registration for the event begins on April 12."

Both former presidents are not the first former world leaders to speak at the summit; Tony Blair was a speaker at the first one in 2008. The summit has also attracted successful Canadian and world business leaders.

Since both Bill Clinton and George W. Bush come from different ends of the political spectrum, it should be interesting to hear what they both have to say; they both most likely will differ in their suggestions as to how businesses can deal with the economic challenges they are currently facing.

Events like the Surrey Regional Economic Summit are important; they remind businesses that their fellow businessmen and women face the same challenges they do. Print companies in Surrey are facing the same challenges as other companies and will be taking note of what is said at the summit.
