Surrey’s seniors who are interested in finding out how to make the most of their golden years may find that the Active Aging Resource Fair is the event they have been looking for.
This resource fair, which is free to attend, will connect older adults in the community with organizations, businesses and other resources that can help them to live an active and healthy lifestyle. The first 150 members of the public to arrive will receive a swag bag that contains an assortment of Promotional Products and other gifts.
Those who attend will have a chance to learn about everything from healthy living to travel and technology. Breakout workshops have also been planned, and live music and prize draws are on the agenda.
This type of function can be a good opportunity for a not-for-profit group or business to introduce itself to the community. The hosts of the fair explained that they are accepting applications from local businesses that would like to set up a booth or other display, and sponsorship opportunities are also available. This will be the fair’s fourth year, and its organizers are anticipating that it will be a well-attended affair.
The Guildford Recreation Centre will be welcoming Surrey’s seniors for this resource fair on April 4th. It will be open from 10am until 3pm.
