Once a year, the companies that make up the Cloverdale District Chamber of Commerce choose a selection of their membership to recognize, and nominations are now being sought for this Surrey activity.
The nomination system for the 2021 Clovies Awards is now open, and this initiative recognizes the district’s top businesses. The organizers have thanked the title sponsor, KPU, for its support, and this year marks the sixth year that the program has taken place.
Names of local companies and individuals can be put forward in several categories, and one that is new for this year will recognize businesses of any size that have gone above and beyond when it comes to resilience in meeting the challenges presented by COVID. Last year, over 100 names were put forth for recognition, and all of them were high calibre, making the selection process difficult.
The plan is for the nominees to be honoured during a special luncheon, and the winners will be announced at the 2021 Clovies Gala. A printing services company can prepare awards to present to each individual or business that has its name put forth in this sort of program, as well as special Corporate Gifts to present to those selected to win.
